A lifelong lover of games, strategy, and a little friendly competition, Dan knows that the best games are about more than just winning—they're about the people around the table.
After discovering American Mahjong, he quickly fell in love with the mix of strategy, socializing, and fun. Now, as Kuhl Customs Co.'s lead instructor, he's helping others discover what makes the game so addictive.
Dan's teaching style is relaxed, approachable, and full of personality. Whether you're picking up your first tile or looking to sharpen your strategy, his goal is simple: make learning Mahjong fun, welcoming, and just a little competitive.

Our lessons are led by Dan, Kuhl Customs Co.'s lead Mahjong instructor, or one of our experienced instructors. We match each group with an instructor based on skill level, group size, and availability.
